  • Irish Circle

    Simple conversational Irish for Adults at all levels of fluency takes place at the following libraries:

    • Loughboy, Wednesdays 11 am.
    • Ferrybank, alternate Tuesdays 2.30 pm.

  • Adult Learning Scheme (Word Aid)

    World Aid, the Co Kilkenny Adult Literacy Scheme, is a free, confidential service that supports adults with reading, writing, spelling or maths difficulties. We also offer support with preparation for the driver theory test, family learning and intoduction to computers, witgh the option of QQI (FETAC) certification.

  • Spanglish

    Spanglish specialises in the Spanish language and offers Spanish lessons from beginners to advanced.

    Group and private lessons to suit everybody’s needs.

    For adults and children from age 3, we aim for a fun and friendly approach to education so that everyone enjoys learning.

    Summer camps for ages 4 to 12.

  • SPANISH

    Hola

    Hola’s classes are different, you speak and are engaged in conversation for most of the class using role-play and props to simulate common situations, from age 5 upwards. The main language being taught at present is Spanish.

    Italian Classes
    Ciao! Hello! Going to Italy? Or just visited? Do you want to learn “un po di Italiano” (a little Italian)? Join my classes in Kilkenny. Grinds available for students for their Junior or Leaving Cert, or during their transition year. Also by Skype! Call me wherever you are. Translation service also available.

    Irish language classes provided for adult beginners, improvers and advanced.

    Courses start in autumn subject to demand.

    Summer camp for senior primary school children in July.

  • Alliance Française

    Alliance Française

    French conversation and written French evening classes run by qualified teachers for adults and children of all abilities from beginners to advanced conversation. Classes also available for Junior Cert and Leaving Cert. There are social and cultural evenings consisting of talks, films and meals out once a month. Enrolment early September and early January.

  • ENGLISH

    Adult Learning Scheme (Word Aid)

    English language classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced. Classes are offered September to June, on a part-time basis, mornings and evenings. Register on-line or contact Helen. Classes are subject to availability and fees may apply.
