Ace Fire Protection

Provide the following training courses: Basic Fire Safety training Module 1, Fire Safety training Module 2, Fire Warden's course, Emergency Evacuation Ski sheet, Skipad and AlbacMat training. Also provide risk assessments and advice. Observed evacuation drills with debriefing and report.

All instructors in Fire Safety are Institute of Fire Engineer (IFE) accredited and are active fire fighters. Instructors in Emergency Evacuation Aids are certified instructors with Phoenix Ireland.

Goatsbridge Trout Farm

At Goatsbridge Fish Farm, trout is our passion. Our knowledge and experience farming rainbow trout has been passed down through three generations. Visitors are welcome to look around our trout farm at anytime during opening hours. Just call into our visitor centre and someone will show you around. For an opportunity to have a go at line fishing or for more informative tours for schools, groups or casual visitors that might include lunch, please pre-book.

Dyslexia Association Ireland (DAI)- Kilkenny Branch

The Kilkenny Branch of the Dyslexia Association is run by a voluntary committee consisting of parents of children attending the Workshop, in partnership with the Workshop Teaching Staff. It runs from September to May. The weekly after school Workshop is held on Fridays 5.30pm to 7.30pm in CBS Primary School, Stephen Street, Kilkenny.

Mooncoin Parish Drug Awareness Programme

Under the auspices of the Irish Bishop's Drug Initiative, meets Mondays 7pm to 9pm in the Youth Centre Parish Hall Mooncoin. Training courses that include an hour of youth cafe and an hour of education, for post primary students (transition year and fifth year) living in the Mooncoin catchment area. These trained students run a peer education programme entitled "Drug Awareness and Healthy Life Choices" for confirmation classes in Mooncoin Parish.
