Through their 'First Stop Shop' service, they can help you consider your options and help you decide whether or not self-employment is for you (Check out their 10 Steps Test). They provide a range of supports to those thinking of starting a business including:

information and advice. Avail of a FREE 'Business Information and Advisory Session' with a CEB staff member to discuss your ideas and/or business issues further
ideas generation programmes, aimed at assisting participants with practical sources of business ideas and help them to spot business opportunities, generate practical ideas and put those ideas into action

Start Your Own Business Courses, which give participants an introduction to all of the main issues encountered when starting up and running a business from researching and planning their idea through to compliance issues and accessing the finance
feasibility study grant, to help research and determine the viability of a business idea
