St Patrick's Special School
St Patricks is a special school for children with a moderate/severe learning disability. The school uses a multi-sensory, multi-disciplinary approach to teaching New development at the school include a Soft Play area and the use of music therapy as an educational aid.

Mother of Fair Love
Established in 1966, this co-educational school caters for children with special education needs in both the primary and post primary sector. The National Rehabilitation Board and FAS develop programs to assist students in advancing their education and gaining employment.

School of the Holy Spirit
The School of the Holy Spirit is a small friendly school catering for severe emotionally disturbed and autistic children. The school teaches the national curriculum as well as other activities. The school was first founded at Seville Lodge but relocated to the centre of the city in 1994.
