All the major disability sectors have branches in Kilkenny. The Irish Wheelchair Association has their regional headquarters in the city. The Forum of People with Disabilities also has a representation in Kilkenny. Their aim is to promote a greater awareness of disability issues and encourage inclusion of the disability sector.
