Among a network of 52 offices nationwide the Kilkenny branch of the Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) is one of the busiest. The service is funded through the DFCFA and is free, confidential and independent. It provides advice on all aspects of budgeting and seeks to address the problems of over-indebtedness through advice.
The Kilkenny Office is located at 8 William Street, which has been in operation since 1994. It is staffed by Michael Saunders(Co-0rdinator), Tom Keating (Money Advisor) & Margaret Neill (Administrator).
