Community Multimedia Training Centres

Kilkenny Information Age in association with Fás have installed a multimedia IT resource in five community resource centres in Kilkenny. The main objective of this community IT model is to develop computer literacy within the community by providing access to IT training & the Internet. Each training facility consists of a networked computer system, which is managed by an experienced computer trainer who will offer every assistance & encouragement to ensure the learning experience to be both informative & enjoyable.

Courses

The following range of courses are being offered in the centres

Introduction to Computer (Tutor based) 16 hours €40.00
Introduction to ECDL (Multimedia based) 22 hours €66.00

ECDL

Newpark Close is the accredited ECDL Test Centre - ECDL Skill Cards €45.00 and €30.00 per exam
